Hello!

I want to start off by thanking everyone who donated last year! It is because of you that I was able to raise over $850!! Thank you!

This year I have kicked up my goal a bit to $1,000! I know that with your help, I can make it there!

Being involved in Relay For Life has been such a wonderful experience for me, and I really hope that I can pass that on to the people around me!

Relay For Life® helps raise much-needed funds and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save lives from cancer. The money raised goes towards research as well as aiding with paitent services such as transportation to and from doctors appointments, andLook Good...Feel Better which helps to restore the emotional balance of cancer patients who may have experienced the physical changes that can occur as a result of cancer treatments.

Sacramento HORNETS!!

So, I recently went to orientation at Sacramento State University (I will be attending in the fall)...and I am VERY scared.

I'm not scared of the school or even the work. I am more scared of time management and letting myself down. I will be working full time in Benicia and then driving to Sacramento three days a week to go to school at night. (for those who don't know...Benicia is about an hour away from Sacramento...with no traffic). I am SO scared of getting overwhelmed and not being able to manage homework, school and working full time.

I am debating trying to find a new job in Sacramento, but they take such good care of me at this job (even if I really DON'T particularly like what I do there)

I am also second guessing whether or not I can actually manage three classes and a full time job.

I kind of just want to quit and go back to school full time, but unfortunately, bills are to much for that.

Sigh...Just a lot to think about....Wish me luck

Besides that not to much is going on! Just very busy at work.

Also, I just had the privilege to participate in Relay For Life here in Vacaville. Its a 24 hour walk to raise money for cancer research. It was 109 degrees and very sunny, but it was totally worth it to raise the money for a good cause. I walked 13.5 miles and our team has raised over $8,000 so far! All the teams that participated in Vacaville have raised over $230,000. It was an awesome experience and I can't wait for next year!

Been a while I know...I don't ever really think to update this. Maybe I will again soon. We will see!

The Coast

My wonderful guy surprised me with a trip to Bodega Bay to watch the sunset the other night. It was amazing and I felt I needed to share...

P.S. I love that I live close enough to the coast to do this kind of stuff!

pitty party

Sometimes I seriously feel like I have no friends...

Everyone is harping on me about when I am going to com back and visit because they can't come out here because it is too expensive....well...i have to pay the same amount to go back there...

Just having a crabby moment because I am coming to realize that only one person has come to visit me in the two years I have lived here....

Just miss having people around. I feel like everyone has written me off as a friend because I moved out here. I dont know if I will ever find those connections again...or at least it seems like it.

Maybe I sould have just stayed in Illinois.

So...I did it...I applied to some colleges out here.
